Clemente Padín (Uruguay) was born on October 8, 1939 in Lascano, Rocha, Uruguay. He is a poet, artist and graphic designer, performer, curator, videographer, multimedia and networker. Degree in Hispanic Literature from the Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación, Universidad de la República, Uruguay. Director of the magazines Los Huevos del Plata (1965-1969), OVUM 10 and OVUM (1969-1977), Participación (1984-1986) and Correo del Sur (2000-2003). Author of 25 books published in France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, Venezuela, the United States and Uruguay. Among them: Los Horizontes Abiertos (two editions, 1969 and 1989, Uruguay); Visual Poems (4 editions including Xexoxial Ed., Wisconsin, USA and Internet, 1969); Ángulos (Ed. Amodulo, Milan, Italy, 1972); De la Representation a l´Action (3 editions, Doc(k)s Ed., Marseille, France, 1975, Ed. Al Margen, La Plata, BA, Argentina, 2010 and Les Presses du réel/al dante, Paris, France); Omaggio a Beuys (IAC Ed., Oldenburg, FRG, 1975-76), and many others. In 2018 Vanguardia Poética Latinoamericana y otros ensayos (Ed. Colectivo Editorial Sur/l, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2018). In press: Soplen Rabiosamente Autoreflexivos (Ed. POSTYPOGRAPHIKA, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2019). He has exhibited collectively in more than 220 exhibitions and in more than 2,000 mail art exhibitions from 1971 to 2010.

Silvia Listur is currently the curator of the García Uriburu Collection in Maldonado by the MEC. She was director of the Museo Gurvich from its inauguration until 2010, Management Coordinator of the Museo Nacional de Artes Visuales 2010-2013, Deputy Director of the Museo de Artes Decorativas – Palacio Taranco 2013-2016, member of the technical team of the Proyecto Sistema Nacional de Museos since 2016 until 2021. Coordinator of the Arte:Arte fair at the Conrad in Punta del Este, 2005. Advisor to the Asociación de Pintores y Escultores del Uruguay. 2000-2005. Curator of the Uruguayan shipment to the Venice Biennale, 2010. Specialist in the formulation and execution of cultural projects in Visual Arts such as itinerant exhibition projects throughout the national territory; development of educational projects linked to the collections of art and decorative arts museums, curatorships and production of exhibitions, production of outreach publications and catalogs of art exhibitions, development of professional training programs in public and private museums face-to-face and at a distance. Founding member of Editorial Mirabilia.
