CASA8 is a gallery directed by Johanna Luque Novoa located in Vedado, city of Havana, Cuba. It was inaugurated in 2016 based on the initiative of the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets and the National Center of Plastic Arts Collage Havana directed by Pedro Edgar Rizo. It encourages the promotion and commercialization of the work of young Cuban artists, betting on heterogeneity, discursive depth and experimental vocation. It focuses on the artistic and curatorial proposals on current debates in contemporary art as a reflection of the multifaceted context of local artistic production.
