BRUNO GRUPPALLI
María Casado Home Gallery (Buenos Aires)
In Spanish, without translation.
Open to the public.
CURATORIAL VISION
María Casado Home Gallery presents a group of paintings by Bruno Gruppalli centered on domestic life, summer, and the constructed nature of realism. Interiors populated by books, sculptures, music, objects, and bodies operate like cinematic fragments: each image suggests a narrative continuing beyond the edge of the canvas. The presentation brings domestic environments into dialogue with landscapes, beaches, the history of painting, and the poetry of Wallace Stevens. Layered spaces blur distinctions between interior and exterior, observation and fiction. A restrained, museum-like installation keeps attention on the paintings and encourages a slower encounter with each scene.
